the rss feed on website displays empty entries, how to add the latest articles i write to the feed?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly but I just had this problem and discovered that unless I have the checkbox called: "Promoted to front page" in the "workflow settings" section of content type page. Once that was checked the new node entries began to show up in the RSS feeds for the site.
