I am on http://www.domain.com/ and I log in, then I am redirected to http://www.domain.com/drigg_home instead of http://www.domain.com

As a quick fix, you can try the Global Redirect module. It should resolve the problem and as a bonus it will give you some nice SEO enhancements.
