Openinviter Friends module intregration

I've not heard much about this very interesting contributing to the open source community. But I was wondering if any one plans on working on an interaction between Openinviter and existing social networking modules like FriendList or User Relationships? Importing your contact lists seems to be a really big possibly and important feature these days. It seems like it would be getting a more attention. I even seen a fellow drupaler offer money for it's develoment! I'm particularly interested in a 6.x as there seems to be some working modules to do this in other versions.

Any word?
