I noticed the the advanced forum stylesheets (advanced_forum.css and advanced_forum-structure.css) are not being included on comment/reply/20#comment-form when submitting a reply to a forum post. Is this by design or mistake?

Somewhat by design. People were complaining that the CSS was causing wacky issues on non forum pages. Rather than try and figure out what bizarre thing was going on, I limited the CSS loading to pages that are treated as forum posts. The comment reply page isn't one of them. I'm not sure if there's enough information in there to determine if it's a forum post you are replying to, but I can look into it at some point.

I note on your playground site, the reply page page displays the comment you are replying to like with the forum styles:

Is that because you just copied the needed styles from advanced forum to your theme stylesheet, or...? Right now on my site, the comment you are replying to doesn't display very nice since the stylesheet is missing. So, I'm just wondering what you are doing on your site to keep it looking nice. :)

SocNet is pretty much "out of the box". I don't know why it would be working there... I'll look into it next time I work on AF. I'm out of time for it for today.

Do you have advanced forum comments set to be used for all comments on SocNet? That could certainly be the difference. I switched my site to that, but I think I did it after I deleted my test posts and there have been no "real" posts yet so I can't test it out.

So, not a major thing -- just let me know if you have that option checked on your site. And happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I do, I use that setting on all my sites. So that may be it. I'll try to get it figured out before the next alpha.
