lut4rp commentedErr, I don't know why one would want multiple instances. Maybe you want something like different Cumulus for different vocabularies?
bflora commentedYeah. That's exactly it.
asak commentedSubscribing.
Much needed.

factanalyzer commentedI believe it is a feature request.
And yes I'm voting for it.
himtuna commentedme too voting, we need separate block for each vocabulary!
wmnnd commentedI think, it should also be possible to create multiple instances with the same vocabulary. Unfortunately, cumulus seems to break tagadelic so that the "more tags" link there is pretty useless - except when there would be another Cumulus.

jcamfield commentedsubscribing - this would be a great feature. Maybe change cumulus to work inside views to customize what shows up?

charos commentedCan you give a feedback what is not working with multiblock?
charos commentedOk got the error with multiblock module.I asked cause I have different issue. The cloned block was just a non flashed block (tagadelic). Pitty. Although I don't think for the author is a lot of work to make it multiblock-enabled.
himtuna commentedEven I tried and failed. lets just wait for the authot to give it a try and add this functionality.
jaclayton commented+1 for me too. It looks to be possible within Wordpress so it should be possible in Drupal. I'd need it for version 5, though.

Thank you for the cool module! multiple blocks can be useful in cases of multiple vocabs, multiple sites etc.
dsy73 commented+1 for me too.
Thanks
Comment #22
vignesh_89 commentedIs that something with the "vid"(I saw this variable in the module file)? Like unique key for the block or somethin? Should we change the vid for various block?
S.Siva commented+1 . me too . need to implement multiple vocabulary with different view. Waiting for the feture request.
heltem commentedHere is a patch to support http://drupal.org/project/multiblock module.
It depends on swfobject 2.2.
heltem commentedForgot to set status to "needs review"
S.Siva commentedThe multiple instances of cumulus is solved by giving various objects to swf files. Solution accquired.
heltem commentedWhat do you mean ?
How do you give various objects to swf files with different settings for each block ?
S.Siva commentedhi actually we tried this thing . when creating multiple blocks the swf object accept value from one cumulus block only. So we have to alter the swf object
variables that is passed to flash object. We have tried for 3 blocks. soon the patch will be put for sample

Yes i have...
it works :-)
I just did it, so i cannot be much accurate, but everything went fine, i correctly see the two instances, they are about different vocabularies for different languages.
Thank you very much
Da.
domosapiens commentedThanks you for the patch.
I have tested the patch and it works fine for two different vocabularies and different languages.
I have a problem with the background color. It doesn't work anymore.
I set it to white (ffffff) and it becomes some sort of blue/green.
Do you know this problem?
aschiwi commentedCheck out this patch that makes Cumulus a views style plugin:
http://drupal.org/node/347883#comment-2446732
That way you can have multiple blocks (as views blocks) and display anything you want.
ekrispin commentedI think you forgot in the patch to add the $multi_id suffix to the persistent variables used in function theme_cumulus_weighted.
aschiwi commentedekrispin, can you please post the problem you found in the same thread as the patch? http://drupal.org/node/347883
Comment #37
ekrispin commentedI'm talking about this patch that makes the support for multiblock, not the patch for views, and this is the channel for that fix.
kars-t commentedAs the new version will be stborcherts Views patch aschiwi is correct that you can build multiple views blocks as soons as there is views support. So I am closing this as by design for the old version.
