Here's my dream. I'd like to be able to not only 1) send out a blast voicemail to a group, but also 2) allow people answering the calls to key in responses to questions and get that data back to CiviCRM. Eventually, 3) I'd like the ability to have a response that will connect the person called to one of a bank of volunteer phoners. More immediately, 4) I want to be able to have a bank of volunteer phoners be led through a script in CiviCRM while 5) having Asterisk auto-dial and queue calls for the next available volunteer to increase their number of calls per hour. 5) would require some predictive smarts on the part of the Asterisk server controller, in terms of monitoring number of phoners, length of calls in progress, and number of new numbers being dialed that have not been connected to a volunteer phoner. In terms of timeframe, 1) is most immediate need, 4) next, then 2), 5) and 3).

Dream big!

I would be interested in helping to spec this out more if there is interest.
