Dependent CCK Multireference/location field

I've been searching the forums on this to no avail. Hopefully, someone will have an idea.

I'm trying to make a dependent multi-reference field. The way it would work is that someone selects a state, then starts typing the name of the location in another field. The names of possible locations only in that state would come up which would also show the address (another CCK field). Unfortunately, some location's names are not unique.

Any ideas? Could I use more than one field in the multireference field? Could I use a dependent field/dropdown? Or perhaps the location module has this functionality?
