restrict creation of node-type

Hello guys,

I created a custom content-type, how do I restrict it so that only one node can be be created base on that content-type?

please help!

I believe there is a module for D5 called node_limit or something to that effect that may help with this. Though I don't know where it stands for Drupal 6.x

you could use rules too

think it's now create quota: http://drupal.org/project/create_quota - and it can be used with rules (like send an email to user, "you've created your one page, now go away" ;)
