please export and post working Timeline view

I am having trouble getting Timeline module to work with D6/Views2. I have the problem using both Event module and a plain CCK custom content type called TimelineItem. I can make a view that shows name and date using a style such as Table, but when I switch to Timeline style in views and try to go to the page view it is just blank. If someone could post an exported view that may help me?
