How can i do this 3 column layout or do i do it manually in the page.tpl?

The theme doesn't have a 3 column layout. The project page says it could be modified to be 3 columns and I've been hesitant to change the project page since I inherited the project but I'll be updating it shortly.

That would take editing the widths in the .css files to make the various areas of the page size properly.

maybe you would liek to tell us what those widths are since you are more familiar with it?

why do i need to use a negative margin to get the overall width wider?
