I've configured it as explained, but no matter what I do Views Fast search sorts the results by update date.

Is there any way to avoid this? I've also installed the vfs ranking module but it didn't help either. Finally changed the sort order in the view to do it by type, but nothing; looks like VFS loves sorting by update dates.

Any help please?

Might help to share an export of your view. Before doing that, though, try clearing the cache at admin/build/views/tools. Also, are you using the default view provided with the module?

I've fixed it selecting in the Search settings the search_node_links' "Auto Detect" option.

This version of Views Fast Search is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
