Description

In permissions I see users can have permission to "approve comments on own ... content". How can they actually do this though?
I see when a comment is made they can "delete" it by how can they "approve" it?

I made a setting "users can approve comments in their own blogs", some users created new blog posts while at these settings,
and then I removed that permission for them -- but the comments to the posts created before I removed the permission now go to the approval queue and I have to handle then madually as administrator :(

In response to your original issue, the usercomment module was not in working order. However, I submitted a patch on a separate thread that fixed the problems.

As for your other question, usercomment works WITH the comments module. Which means it honors the permissions set for that module too. 'post comments without approval' is conflicting with the usercomment permissions and you shouldn't use it, if you can avoid it

In the latest 6.x version, I put the approval form on the node directly (instead of making you do some extra themeing yourself) and put in some better explanation in the README to make things clearer (hopefully).
