Hi,

I was thinking about adding a feature to the "Add Content" popup, but I wanted to be sure it isn't already in development or already exists somewhere.

I was thinking about adding a search feature for the "Add Content" popup, so that the user could search their system for a specific block or view to add into their panel.

Does anything like that already exist? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how it should work?

I was thinking the "Add Content" could have two tabs, one for "Search" and the other for "Browse" or "List". Any other suggestions?

I think this is an interesting idea, sorry to have not responded to it earlier. However, something like this would probably require a change in the interface at a level that I'm not particularly interested in having happen within Panels2. So I'd encourage you to check the UI redesign thread at http://groups.drupal.org/node/15854 as a place where you might get some traction on seeing something like this as we move forward.

Panels 2 is no longer available and is unsupported. Marking all Panels 2 issues won't fix.
