Am I right in thinking that Google Maps Tools could be a viable alternative to the usual recipe of Gmap + Location?
If so, would it be straightforward to migrate node co-ordinates from Location to Google Maps Tools?
This module shows a lot of promise :-)

I am having the same question. GMAP and location are the core of my site. How much work is it to migrate to gmaps? Can the nodes be migrated automatically? It would be a lot of work if I have to migrate all my coordinates manually.
