What about an intregration to the notifications module

Hi there,

I have been looking at various ways to promote my contents on the web which is why I installed this Twitter module.

However I also installed the notifications module to send emails automatically to subscribers when new contents is published: http://drupal.org/project/notifications

I understand that this notifications module provide the core of the engine but can be easily extended to provide other ways to deliver the notifications.

Since this module provide a rich interface which allows to select what contents type to push out and how; I thought it would really beneficial to this Twitter module.

In short the Twitter module would become another medium to propagate the notifications.

Any thoughts?
