Custom tags with spaces are broken into words

Found an issue when enabling Custom tags as the Tag Source and the custom tags have spaces. On the node create/edit form when trying to select the custom tag only a word is selected instead of the full tag with spaces, for example: Human Resources is broken into two tags Human and Resources instead of the full phrase.
