I have installed and enabled, ran update.php, but can't find it anywhere. I have the other modules that it requires enabled. Does not appear in either the group details block or on the event node. Doesnt appear in admin/by-module list.

Same here.
Same version. Have not installed OG forums yet. (I heard it was a problem in the past). I have advanced forum. I will install OG forum now and will update again.

Hey,
Just go to OG configuration and activate the type of contents you want to have. That should work. It worked for me. You should also create your first event content and then you can start playing will other options. I am now to start playing with the blocks to see if I create a block ina group with events if the content will only be in that group if I leave it as private event..
