I don't understand why I'm getting this error when I try to create a new display.
When I try to save the new display, it gives the error in the screenshot.
Beneath that, preview error "Unable to preview due to validation errors."
Help? Am I missing something?

merlinofchaos commentedI've never seen anything like this. I don't know how this could be happening. I wish I could help but I can't reproduce this so it's hard for me to guess what might be going wrong on your system to cause this.

mintti commentedAlso, we got same problem here... =(

merlinofchaos commentedMarking needs more info until somebody can help me reproduce this.
I can't help without actually having administrative (and shell) access to a site where this is happening.

Draven_Caine commentedi had the same issue, and i know merlin has his things in order (hails merlinofchaos), so i decide to just grab the plugins folder from my local files and upload it again, maybe the connection got bugged since views is not small to upload, and its all fixed.
BTW this issues can the same for grid, table, html list, and unformatted.
FYI : before posting "your module has an issue" post, might want to make sure all your files are uploaded :)

pillow commentedThis occurs after disabling the view_rotator module.
I found some codes to validate style_plugin file existance in views module, so I think it's by design.
But it seems unnormal because the problem still continue even after uninstalling the modules.
Any help will be appreciated.

pillow commentedclick the responed display, I'll get a "missing style" notice, the problem is gone~

winklet commentedAnyone have a solution to this? I am having this problem, and post #10 doesn't make sense, I don't know what "responed display" means.
*update: No sooner did I post this than I found a solution. I had uninstalled some some views modules which had been used by a particular display I had set up in views, which is what was causing the error. So I reinstalled the missing modules, removed the display that was using them (because I didn't need it anymore anyway) and the errors are now gone.
