I would like to have some area of my website to have a restricted access, only to users of a particular role.

I thought to create a menu and a relevant block, visible only to a particular role, but what happen is that the user not belonging to that role can actually access to the page, simply she/he has no direct access to it from the website...

How can I have some node not at all accessible to particular roles?
