I've just created my first customized node type. I went to access control admin page in order to activate create and administer permissions and when I click the save button in this page, it says that permissions were updated whereas they weren't ! So I can't get a link in navigation menu to create a new content of my type.

I'm working on Drupal 4.6.3.

What's the problem ?

In fact, the problem only appears when there are accentuated letters or special characters (like \' for example) in the content type name. Is there a patch for that problem. Because I'm using Drupal in French and I should be able to create content types named with accentuated letters.

there are more problems zith the permission system. But they cannot be fixed ATM, due to the nature of drupals permission system. Please try to not use any strange charachters, or use their HTML encoded values.

Flexinode does not look supported anymore. I'll close the issue for this reason.

Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
