Any plan to port this to drupal 6 version? I really need this module in drupal 6...

Yes, it will get ported to D6, but there is no specific timeline to do so. Patch contributions will make it come faster of course.

In CVS, it looks like some work has been done to port this to 6.x -- is there much more to do?

It is upgraded, but I haven't run it in a production environment yet, so can't really say for sure that it works.

I turned on 12 hour snapshots for 6.
