I am building my new website using Drupal 6.6 and Godaddy shared hosting and i just realized that the Image API require PHP 5.2 +
while godaddy shared hosting provide only PHP 5, is there any way to bypass this requirement from within drupal or godaddy ???
doesis possibale to upload an old version of the image api with drupal 6.6 ?
i just need the basic functionality of uploading images and show them in the site.

We do offer PHP 5.2.5 on our Linux shared hosting accounts. There is more information in the following article, including how to run both PHP 4 and 5, as well as how to change your current version.
