I added some custom fields to the User info.

Users can add the data when they create their account. They cannot edit the fields. Attemptsd to go back and access the pages with the added fields get a 404 error. Same happens for me as an administrator, if I try to access the pages and change the fields for them. I get a 404 error.

Any suggestions?

how is this non-editing of fields being handled? I'd start there. If a module disable it. Does functionality return albeit without the control? if so, it could be a bug in the module being used.
