Not sure if this is a request for a feature or support -

I have D6.6, Gallery module 6.x..., Gallery 2.3, G2image, all working together just fine. I've been experimenting with using the "exact size" attribute to place images on pages and this too works great.

What I'd like to be able to do, and what I can't seem to be able to figure out through research or experimentation, is to place an image on a page from a specific album and have a new, random or different, image from the same album open next time the page loads. Is this functionality in place already? If so, how does one use it?
Thanks very much,
Todd Vogel

I should add: I understand how to use the filter to get random thumbnails to appear from a given album, but how do I make it an exact size image from that album, and not a thumb? Thanks again,

Seems to be a theme with me: I answered my own question. Thanks for helping me brainstorm it out. The answer is to tinker w/ the G2filter settings. In my case [G2:4864 class=g2image_float_right exactsize=250 show=none] grabs a random image from the album id#4864, floats it right, and makes it exactly 250px wide. Exactly what I wanted.

The "show=none" makes it so no date/title, etc print.

hope that helps someone else w/ the same question...
