When this module even just enters the modules directory, the whole site disappears, and only this message shows up:

I am experiencing the same thing

I am running drupal 6.8. It's a brand new clean install.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/myname/public_html/mysiteroot/modules/drupalit/drupalit.module on line 977

On the same server, I installed drupal 5, and it worked fine.

Some more background info

This happens as soon as you enable the module, and it hoses your entire site

Hello,

i just installed a fresh drupal-6.8 installation with drupalit 6.x-1.2 module. No such error has appeared to me.

I resolved the issue by switching to PHP5
