Hosting new releases off site

you should create new releases rather than link to releases in the files folder.

new releases will show on the project page when they are marked as supported. As it stands you have two releases in CVS from what I can see and 2 in the files folder of another site not associated with drupal.org.

The problem with hosting them offsite is that usage statistics can't be tracked that way. The other problem is that users can't file issues because the newer versions aren't showing up in the dropdowns.

It best for the community at large to properly learn to create release nodes for your releases.
