First, thanks so much for posting a 6.x version for us to work off of!
I installed the new version but so far haven't been able to get it to work. When I try to add a valid number (the White House comment line) for a field configured as US/Can, it says it's not a valid number, regardless of what format I enter it in. I tried:
202-456-1111
2024561111
202.456.1111
(202) 456-1111
Under the global settings, none of the boxes is checked (not required, don't add country code, don't use parentheses), only 1 value is allowed and there is no separator given. I did try it with a separator and that didn't change the results.
Let me know if you need more info to reproduce this bug.

Running D6.6 with latest releases of views and cck.
Previously, I used the dev version of phone that was released in another thread. That release worked fine. Further, I went back to that version and Phone is working again.
