Auto Maroc is a classified car for Moroccan community in french, http://www.automaroc.net/
I am using views 1 with panels 2, cck, view rotator in frontpage with some css, inline registration, invite module, role account, advanced profile, flag module, author contact, image cache, image api for images, modr8 to moderation content, view filter block to expose a search form, i am using the power of panels 2 to overriden the node, taxonomy display.
I turn all my views to file module for perfomance reason check this tutorial (thanks to Michelle)

The classifieds module its not suitable for me as i need more control/field, the cck/panels 2 and views give me more options to display nodes, taxonomy and images, make views files and delete in dabatase is a good trick for making your website faster.
To complete the list of module i am using
Meta tags, taxonomy title for seo, also i am adding all javascript to the footer of my theme, good for performance
