Newsletters - Online and in Emails: Is Drupal right for me?

I am interested in using Drupal for one of our clients: an internal initiative to create and manage a newsletter for a group of about 100 people. First off, I need to be able to create an online newsletter that our client can easily create and manage news content, publishing and unpublishing content as needed. However, I also need to be able to use the same application to send out a condensed HTML version of the newsletter which anchors back to specific areas of the online version. AND, be able to use Drupal to manage the small email recipent list our client has. Can Drupal be configured as such with the aid of modules? Is Drupal right for my needs?

I recommend Drupal

Drupal can do this task in a very good way.

If you have few subscriptions or a good server, simplenews would be fine to manage this task. In other case it would be better to have phplist integration.
With drupal is pretty easy to have newsletters. Also is direct to have RSS of them.

To manage content , Drupal is great and i'm sure your client will be just happy.
