external translation of website
hi
I searched through the web and could not find any information if there is a way to grab all content so it can be translated externally and bring this back into the drupal site. I am just planning a side and would like to avoid any bad surprises.
So the use case would be the following:
can I create my side in English and than externalize all content nodes into one file which I could pass on to translation. Or do i need to set up my side a certain way that I can have all content externally in files right away??? So that the drupal grabs the strings from the correct files depending on which locale is chosen similar like it is in Java?
Reason here is that I would like to save the people who are translating from having to find all content and than edit it. That way they can use spell check and so on when they are working on the files.
Thanks

Just a thought
I don't have a specific solution for you, but I have implemented an English site and then created some user id's with "translator" roles and let them create translated pages. I found that other methods require multiple copies-and-pastes or data entry with more possibility for error.
