Hi
Would be great if there will be option to private chat (new tab in tribune window e.g. where will be conversation of two people) inside Tribune.
As far I saw it, there is on room for everybody only.
Thanks

naheemsays commentedI am wondering whether this can be done by extending the current access control modules.
Since tribunes are now nodes, modules such as forum_access should be able to limit the people who can see the node.
Saying that, I do not know if there is an access module which filters per user...

SeeSchloss commentedWell, restricting tribune nodes to a list of users will be possible in the future (2.x-dev is still in early alpha) so someone who has the right to create a node could simply create one and restrict it to himself and the user he wishes to talk with in private. But I will not implement a “simple” private chat feature, clearly, especially since there is no way to know who exactly is on a tribune at any time (the active users thing is only a vague estimation).

SeeSchloss commentedThis is old, 2.x is dead, and I still think private messaging isn't in tribune's scope.
