We recently launched the Chef's knife store, the core site is built using Drupal V5.x and Ubercart V1.x.
From the site:
"NAIFU knives are skillfully crafted using the best Japanese and German steels. By importing them from source our on-line CHEF’S KNIFE STORE is able to offer them direct at a substantial saving in cost for knives of this remarkable quality."
Panels and views were used to link in with the main product node type to allow full control from a design and layout point of view. Lightbox was used to show the knives in as much detail as we could get, to really let them shine.
Feedback very welcome, would love to answer any questions anyone may have on the build.
Many thanks,
Vince

Great site, nice design. The functionality is fantastic!
I had a quick poke around purely because the company I work for is looking into ubercart as a viable ecomm solution. Was the protx integration easy? Protx is our main source of card processing.
I did come accross this issue though.
I added this product - http://www.chefsknifestore.co.uk/products/d67/paring-knife to the cart and then when I got to checkout I got this error: "The selected file files/G-D67 PAR'G.jpg could not be uploaded, because the destination tmp/tmp_imagecache_043822181dde1a248ec4eccdf4962012_cart_G-D67 PAR'G.jpg is not properly configured."
Thanks for sharing your site.
Many thanks
Many thanks for the feedback, to answer you're questions:
The Protx module was very straight forward, it is literally a case of turning it on and entering your Protx ID and password.
Thanks for pointing out the image problem on the shopping basket, (note to self; always check the folder permissions! :)
