What happened to "browse by name" on the modules listing

I've been searching to see if there is any mention of this the last week, but google says no, so here goes:

Until at least last week the http://drupal.org/project/Modules/name page listed all modules on one page. Now there is pagination.

I can understand the use of pagination, since the previous method seemed to use a very long time to create the one page.

OTOH, I do miss a way to browse all modules alphabetically; could there be an effort to create a cached version of http://drupal.org/project/Modules/name, but which also filters by release? Something like http://drupal.org/project/Modules/name/6.x showing all modules on one page.
