When using Image 5.x-1.9 coupled with Views 5.x-1.6, we can use "Image: Display Image" in the Views "Fields", which we can view the thumbnail or preview image.

But when using Image 6.x-1.0-alpha3 with Views 6.x-2.1, this Image option not showing in Views "Fields"

Hi,
This might be worth a look: Views 2 Support in 6.x. With Drupal 6 Image doesnt currently expose itself to Views! Thankfully the developers are on the case and as that linked issue demonstrates, hopefully we wont have to wait much longer for Views2 support in a stable/dev release.
