using mysql/php apps in Drupal

I am considering to use drupal instead of mysql/php for site development.

i have already purchased some php/mysql applications and am wondering whether i can use these with Drupal or whether it is better simply to to stock with drupal and the avaiable modules

the apps i have are:

joblite.co.uk ........... a job site software php/mysqla

vivvo.net .............. a news aggregator and cms.....php/mysql

interspire.com....their email marketer progrom .....for newsletyer and email database management ...php/myql

thanking you in advance

I would also like to know about Interspire integration

We currently use Interspires send studio (will probably be upgrading to email marketer),
and are in the process of migrating a site to drupal. Has anyone integrated this application with drupal ever?

I think somehow syncing it with simplenews module could work out nice. (user subscribes to simplenews list, it updates sendstudio. If a user unsubscribes from a sendstudio "remove me from this list" email link, then they are unsubscribed from simplenews)

maybe the syncing can be done on chron and not with every sub / unsub action?

I would be interested in helping code and/or fund interspire(sendstudio/email marketer) integration. Im not too familiar with the interspire code as of now, but will probably soon be :)

There is this thread over on Interspires site

any thoughts?
