A "Disable" option in the settings form would be wonderful. This way the Permalink form could be displayed elsewhere (by calling the module directly from the theme or a custom block) and not be shown more than once.

I'm trying to understand this issue and the goal with it. I looked at the admin screens for "show" and "hide" and didn't see it.

I see the attached image, which has checkboxes that are effectively "show/hide" boxes. But I don't understand why we need to add more UI complexity in order to achieve the goal: make it easy for themer/module developer to add permalinks.

Can someone explain a bit more?

I think the request here is to show/hide the box that displays the full URL.

greggles: Are you looking at the 5.x version? (This issue is filed against 5.x) It's quite a bit different than 6.x.

Oh, no, I'm a 6.x only person. If it were up to me I'd mark this "won't fix" if it only applies to 5.x

I agree with greggles. We're not taking any new feature requests for the 5.x version, so I'm marking this "won't fix."
