Wouldn't it be possible to catch all the hooks from every installed modules dynamically?
It's too bad it can only listen to core hooks though. A function call visualizer would be the greatest feature of all times.

I don't know of any way to do this in Drupal 6.x, but the hook registry in Drupal 7.x may indeed make it possible. Postponing for now.
