Check that, the dev is still active and he says there's an alpha 3 coming : http://groups.drupal.org/node/11387
But I checked the HEAD code and it's an older version than alpha 2 :(
The module is currently broken because of the view API change. Download the latest working version here (comment #9) : http://drupal.org/node/307223#comment-1040887

Not according to the cvs commit messages, which show the last commit from October 20th.

This is the Drupal-6--1 branch, with no new features (Atom, ...). The dev was talking about new features in the HEAD version but the HEAD tag is really old !

Also check the views node feed module, which lets you output ANYTHING you want (but no basic templates are included for now, see the issues for an XML exemple).
