I've installed the lm_paypal module (with Subs, Dons, & PA's) but the Donations module does not appear in my list of modules to enable/disable.

Is this common or I am just missing something stupid?

Did you install the right version for the version of Drupal that you are running? The LM Paypal modules should be in their own section ("LM Paypal")

Closing all 5.x issues. Update with 6.x details and re-open if this is still an issue.
