Hello,

This may be a pipe dream, but I am looking to create a site that allows a user to input an address and, based on the address, locate businesses within a specific radius which can then be filtered by any number of criteria, or vice versa. Would a Drupal developer be able to implement something like a map that displays businesses within a certain radius that can be filtered, sorted, etc., or am I barking up the wrong tree?

There is mapping but I'm not sure about the radius search capability-- you may want to ask in the http://drupal.org/project/gmap and/or http://drupal.org/project/location module issues queues.
