I've installed drupal a few times before. I created the database and uploaded the files. I followed the directions and have the settings.php file renamed and I get to input the database info. I enter that and it just wont proceed. No real error message is given like the information was incorrect ( and indeed, when I changed a few things, it told me it couldnt connect ).

But it also didnt proceed.. it just reloads the page.. Im not sure exactly what to do next.

Searching for some clues. There are a few posts like this in this install forum but I have yet to find a any clues. Hope someone can help.

I emailed my host about this. They seemed to get it working.. I think it had to do with the permissions of the settings.php file and how it was copied. As well, I think they had to enter a prefix for the database table. I will be installing drupal on a few more domains coming soon.. so I will still be trying to figure out exactly what they did to get it working.
