Creating Thumbnail picture on product list

striderspike - December 4, 2008 - 04:39

first of all, i don't have any experienced in making webpages/design.. I'm a total newbiee...

Ive been trying to create a catalog which have categories (Electronics, Books, Misc.) each categories have their own categories as well (Electronics: phones, equipments, misc. , Books: IPC, Automotvie & etc.). i manage to put pictures for each item but the problem is with the categories which i would like also to put image/picture. It only give me an "x" mark as thumbnail view. This is the same as on the product list.

Can anyone help me to solve my problem?

thank you in advance....

Are you using http://drupal.org/project/taxonomy_image module or doing by hardcode(your own code)?

Hi vijaythummar, "hardcode"

Hi vijaythummar,

"hardcode" do you mean, changing codes? NO... I don't have any idea on changing codes since its my first time to touch this field.

when i installed drupal 6, i also add the Ubercart module where there are add-ons i downloaded & installed base on ubercart requirements.
i have imagefield, imagechache, cck, token, imageapi, filefield, getid3, webform, contemplate, thickbox, image, imagemagick, advanceg_help, imagecache_profiles and recently i downloaded taxonomy_image & taxonomy list.

I don't know how to proceed.... i need help...

In the taxonomy_image

In the taxonomy_image module, whenever you add any term any the vocabulary, in that form they will ask you to insert image for that particular term.

Might be there is some site configuration in the site for texonomy_image to select which vocabulary you need to add image.

Regards,
vijay

reason for this is all required modules for image support are not installed or image support is not enabled for ubercart!

not sure about solution !

i am also new to drupal so can only tell what i know for sure.

if if happen to find any solution inform me too!
