I made a modification of the module and will submit a patch as soon as I understand how to make one.
Meanwhile, take a look at the screenshot. I found the existing options to be too limited compared to this one, where you choose freely how many parameters you want to set through SWFObject.

I completely agree on this one - I just haven't worked on this too much since SWFObject 2.1 came out.
(On a semi-related note, I've actually thought for awhile of integrating with SWFObject API anyway.)
In any case, shoot me that patch if you want, or if not, I'm going to try to work on this module this next week while at DrupalCamp NYC / DrupalCon DC.
