Issue Summary
Hi
I read RVSP 2.0. Roadmap, I notice you wrote there about actions/triggers integration.
I would like to suggest Rules integration, Rules looks more powerful as both this modules

I personally do not really understand why an invitation system has a pressing need for actions/triggers or the rules module.
Maybe it is just my view because I am happy with what it does at the moment.
The functionality as it is right now covers 90% of all use cases. The rest can usually be covered by easy to implement tweaks.
Could you elaborate in detail where actions/triggers/rules would help the rsvp user? Try to convince me...
Thanks,
Ulf

Hi Ulf
I have no idea about integration and RVSP process at all, I just noticed that you wrote in your roadmap about actions and triggers and I found rules very great and flexible module so I wanted tell you about it and you maybe find it useful for your plans. :)

I know, this is an old thread but the feature request is still up-to-date.
Rules integration would open a lot of new possiblities as a bridge for further integrations such as Heartbeat to create user activity logs (user1, user2 and user3 will participate in event "abc"). I'm sure there are many other interesting use cases. :)

I agree with design.er, rules integration is useful.

This Functionality needed when you want specific thing to happen.
I am also interested in Rules Integration.

Lets say when user moves node from a workflow state to another I want current node's Invitation aoutomatically happen. I need trigger or Rules (preferrably Rules) for this.
