I am testing Mail to Web and it is working a treat with Notifications and PHPMailer and OG Notifications (latest release versions of these). Thank you for this great module. Can I ask:
Can it work with digests? testing shows it doesn't seem to.
Does it only work for immediate notifications (non-digest) with one post?
Is there any way that users could choose when subscribing whether to have instant notifications with Mail to Web markup, or digest content, or both.
Perhaps I should be posting on the Notifications issue queue?

cglusky commentedI think you are in the right queue. This would be very difficult to do as mail2web adds a bunch of info about the node you are replying to in the header of the email. And since a digest potentially has multiple nodes I am not sure how mail2web could be tweaked to handle this case. Perhaps it could be done, but not very easy me thinks.
I have been doing a lot of testing and work with mail2web and I have no plans to work on this feature for my users.

tallsimon commentedThank you for your reply. I have found a workaround - give users options as to the frequency of digests, making it clear that the immediate option allows email replies and the digest does not.

Ian Ward commentedSwitch to mailcomment project. Mail2web is now known as "mailcomment" due to a trademark issue with the name mail2web.
