From the project description it sounds like this module does the same as a Workflow/trigger combination. Is it different in any way?

Hey Budda, I am not sure if Workflow/trigger combination does this. I wanted a simple module for admin notification and after hours of browsing on internet, did not find a proper solution wrote my own and released this module.

Maybe, this is a lighter alternative to workflow/trigger combination.
