I have the most recent up-to-date version of date and now when I create new content and select a date (granularity for year and month only), it's being stored is the current month and year. I can go in and edit and save, and it's stored correctly. this is only happening when creating a new node.
anybody?

*sigh, somebody that understands the frustration.
i have d5.x and the latest version of cck and date.

it's so difficult to pickup this problem, unless you do it over and over again.
but it's definately there.

@ipswitch did you manage to find the solution?

can anybody help?

I see that a new version - 6.x-2.1 - of date released the same day you posted. Did the update fix this for you? I had to use 6.x-2.x-dev to get it to work.
