hi arthurf, thanks again for your kind help on my other issue....i'm testing mediamover on both d5 and d6 installations, here's the issues i encountered:

d5
if i specify the storage directory "/x/y" for the file "name.flv", my stored file will be "/x/yname.flv", directory "y" will stay empty. i tried to add a trailing slash "x/y/" but this is handled as an error. apparently the processed file is also stored in media_mover/ffmpeg/converted/n/....i guess i could fix that myelf, but i'm not sure and i thought i'd report.

there is no link in the navi-menu to the mediamover page and i can't find it elsewhere- i could only find it as i knew the path from d5..

and some more general questions:

this one might be related to the double-saving of processed file- in my database i can see process file and storage file entries; for a better understanding, what's the process file entry for?

i have tried flash video module before but changed to yours as it fits better to my needs. however, i have been able to see the full log of ffmpeg in flash video, which was very handy- this might be more related to the ffmpeg wrapper, but do you know how i can access this log?

is there a documentation how i can watermark? by ffmpeg command? i'm confused as this was implemented in flash video module, so i can't tell at which point of "processsing-to-showing" this overlay was inserted....
