The image captcha has been working great for the past few months. And now it's not working. It just shows the alt text "Image CAPTCHA" instead, and it's like it can't find the image.

Match Captcha works just fine.

What changed on your setup since the time Image CAPTCHA did work?
Any upgrades of Drupal core/Drupal modules/PHP/...?
Did you install other modules?

Installed a few Userpoints modules. No core updates.

The source for the Captcha is still fine. It just can't find the image with the path given now. Sounds like a permissions issue on the server, but we haven't changed anything along those lines.

Closing old/outdated issues for 5.x releases, which is officially unsupported now.

If this issue still exists for Drupal6 or Drupal7, please reopen (and update the version)
