What is the advantage of Aggregation over FeedAPI or SimpleFeed?

I'm currently using FeedAPI as the central engine for most of what my site does, but I've run into some issues now and then and am keeping my eye open for other feed aggregator + node processing modules that might do the same job better, or with additional features. Could someone briefly contrast this module with the other aggregator modules?

The aggregation module seems simpler to use, but FeedAPI is more comprehensive and will be more supported in the future. That's my prediction.
